Allison Perrigo, Director, Gothenburg Global Biodiversity Centre

Dr. Allison Perrigo is the Director of the Gothenburg Global Biodiversity Centre, based at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Gothenburg. Her scientific background is in systematic biology, and she now focuses broadly on issues around the current biodiversity crisis from a natural sciences perspective through leadership, research, and communication.

Bianca Brasil is the Program Manager for Business Engagement with the UN Convention on Biological Diversity where she coordinates the Global Partnership for Business and Biodiversity. Over the past decade she gained experience in Business and Biodiversity related issues by managing the Communications strategy on the international expansion of the LIFE Certification and by leading the Institutional Relationship and Strategic Partnerships of the Boticario Group as the liaison person on public policies, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development Goals. Bianca studied Law and specialized in Corporate Communications Management.

Lars Müller is coordinating the EU Business and Biodiversity Platform of the European Commission, a forum for working with private business to integrate natural capital and biodiversity such as Natural Capital Accounting into business practice. The Platform includes corporates from the financial and non-financial sectors and helps to coordinate innovative national and international initiatives, to assess, measure and value the biodiversity footprint of private corporates and to highlight business best biodiversity practices and innovations at EU and international level.

Tove Hägglund is the project leader and main author of the industry’s roadmap for biodiversity. Tove has many years of experience of working with businesses and biodiversity, both at the strategic level and in several projects to increase biodiversity and natural values in former mining areas.
