Sickla Mine Run is a terrain race. In the mine, the surface is a mixture of asphalt and gravel and can in some places be uneven and muddy. When the race takes place in a mine, it is mandatory to run with a helmet for safety reasons. The start fee includes a loan helmet that is mandatory to run with.
The track runs in the mine’s two levels, one 20 meters underground and one 40 meters underground. At the beginning and end of the mining section, there will be a steep slope. As there is high humidity in the mine, the surface can be slippery. In the mine, the track has several sharp turns. The mine is lit, but there will be areas where it can be a bit dark. Music, lights and sound experiences along the track gild the running experience.
