Svemin’s Autumn Summit has for many years been the obvious and largest event for mining, mineral and metal producers in Sweden.

A full day where the industry’s business leaders, academia, authorities and opinion leaders meet to listen, learn and lead one of the country’s largest, most innovative and important industries forward. The summit usually attracts around 250 participants who discuss EU and industry policy, research and innovation issues, climate, environment, sustainability and the undoubted role of mining in the green transition.

Autumn Summit 2023 – Münchenbryggeriet on November 22nd

On November 22, it is time for this year’s Autumn Summit, which will take place at Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm. This year’s focus is on defense, security and geopolitics given the current situation in our world. Special focus will be placed on the self-sufficiency of raw materials in connection with the EU’s ambition according to the CRM Act that came earlier this year. Sweden, the EU’s largest mining nation, plays a large and significant role – the Swedish mining industry is not only a world leader in terms of climate-efficient processes, work environment and innovation – our bedrock also contains more than half of the raw materials that the EU classifies as critical to cope with the transition.
