Nominate for the Industry’s Gender Equality Award

Working strategically and goal-orientedly with gender equality is a job that deserves to be rewarded and noticed. That is why the Swedish Industry Council annually awards a prize to companies that have implemented important initiatives that promote gender equality. The nomination period for the 2021 award now opens.

The latest winner of the Industry’s gender equality award is Höganäs AB, which was awarded the prize during the Industry Day which took place in Sandviken on 30 September 2019.

– We were all very proud to receive the award even though we are aware that we still have a lot left to do. The award has put further focus on the issue that we now experience is a natural part of our way of working and thinking, says Fredrik Emilsson, CEO of Höganäs AB.

Anyone can nominate

This year’s nomination takes place via a web form on the Swedish Industry Council’s website and anyone is welcome to nominate companies that have implemented important initiatives that promote gender equality. It is possible to nominate until June 10, 2021.

The awarding of the Industry’s Gender Equality Prize 2021 will this year take place in connection with Industry Day on 27 September in Skellefteå.
