Efficient and legally secure permit processes are a prerequisite for a continued competitive mining and mineral industry. Unfortunately, the state processes today are characterized by a very high degree of uncertainty. The processes must become more predictable, balanced and process economical. Svemin works continuously to improve the conditions and to make the trials effective and efficient. Within the framework of our project Action for permit processes, we work to produce concrete improvement proposals.

The reasons for the uncertainty in the permit processes are several. In order to achieve improvements, it is necessary to work both long-term and to go into the depth of the problems, but also to deal with changes to certain parts of the regulatory framework fairly immediately in order to clarify and streamline the processes. In Action for permit processes, we analyze a number of areas where we believe that the opportunities for improvement are great. The analysis is ongoing during spring 2020.
